School Psychology Consultation

As a licensed school psychologist in the state of Wisconsin, Scott offers a range of consultation services designed to support schools and families in fostering student success. His years of expertise allows him to address various educational and psychological needs, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive. Due to his background and experience in the school system, Scott had advanced knowledge of assessments such as the WIAT-4, WISC-V, KTEA-3, BASC-3, Woodcock Johnson, and BES-5:S, whose results are widely accepted by schools and are used to evaluate cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning in children/adolescents as part of a comprehensive evaluation to determine eligibility for an Individualized Education Program (IEP).

1. Psychoeducational Support

• Provide strategies for positive reinforcement and appropriate discipline. 

3. Academic Support & Special Education Services

• Support academic success with expert advice on accommodations and modifications for students with learning needs. Offer practical strategies to boost engagement and motivation in the classroom.

• Ensure compliance with special education regulations and support the evaluation process. Help schools understand and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs.

• Offer expert input on developing or revising IEPs or 504 Plans for students with special needs and ensure schools are providing appropriate accommodations and modifications for students. 

4. Parent Consultation

• Navigate your child’s emotional and behavioral development with personalized support. Offer strategies for effective communication and parenting techniques that empower families.

• Offer advice to parents/guardians on IEPs or 504 Plans after individual reviews and can help prepare you to advocate for your child's needs. 

• Provide recommendations for enrichment activities and strategies to meet the needs of advanced learners.
