How do I schedule an appointment?
The best way to schedule an appointment is by navigating here to "Request Appointment" and view appointment availability. You will have the option to either schedule a free 15-minute consultation or schedule a full 60-minute psychotherapy appointment. The 15-consultations are used as a way to ensure your needs will be appropriately met by True Growth Counseling & Consulting before scheduling an appointment, but a consultation is not required.
Do you offer virtual appointments?
Yes. We provide Telehealth appointments for most services, depending on your location and clinical needs.
Is grief counseling only for death-related losses?
Not at all. Grief comes in many forms—loss of identity, life transitions, infertility, trauma, relationship changes. If it feels like something important has shifted or ended, grief counseling may help.
What if I’m not sure what I need?
That’s okay. Many people come to therapy not knowing exactly what they’re looking for—just that something feels off. We’ll work together to explore what support could look like.
What if I’m in crisis?
We are not a crisis center. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You can also:
Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (24/7, free, confidential)
Text HOPELINE to 741741 to connect with a trained crisis counselor through the Crisis Text Line
If you are an LGBTQ young person, you can:
Call 1-866-488-7386
Text START to 678-678
Or chat online at TheTrevorProject.org to speak with a trained counselor
You are not alone. Support is available anytime, day or night.
